Has the entire soccer experiment in the American colony failed

I understand, we're seeking sense by following the premier European soccer programs. But soccer stars in Europe are like Madonna or Alex Rodriguez.

I've been fortunate to live in Germany. I've watched Bayern-Munchen in person. I understand the nuances of the game.

I respect that my generation was the great experiment to add "football" to the American sports menu. But despite great success with women's soccer, when it comes to men, with all the competition from all of the American sports, it's just not happening.

Our attention should be fixed on the Stanley cup and the NBA playoffs. The Europeans can keep their metric system and soccer (football). We'll be just fine without it.
